I have such mixed emotions about Christmas this year. Part of me is so excited to celebrate with my little family. It’s Anna’s first Christmas and Jack is super excited for Santa this year. I’m trying to create new memories and traditions for our family and I’m really excited about it, but then there is also a part of me that is very sad about Christmas this year. We usually spend the entire week of Christmas with our families and this year, because of the pandemic, we will be staying home. I know we will FaceTime with everyone and make the best of the holiday the same way we have all year long, but it’s just not the same. There are no parties, no family get-togethers, no meetups with friends, and no events worth dressing up for this Christmas.
