How to Style a Spring Moto Jacket

Hi Friends!  I am pretty excited about todays outfit post.  With the weather finally warming up I’ve been trying to get more outfit photos done outside.  I take all my photos myself and it’s not always easy to find a spot I feel comfortable setting up my tripod and taking pictures in an outfit, but I’ve been scoping out a few places and testing them out.  It helps having Anna as my little assistant in her stroller.  She makes me feel a little more comfortable in front of the camera and always makes me smile.

I had the chance to check out Hometown Haven Boutique a few weeks ago and I picked out a few different pieces for spring.  This light weight moto jacket caught my eye right away.  I love the color!  It’s a neutral color that can go with so many different outfits and it’s so perfect for spring.  For this look I paired it with my black button fly jeans from Abercrombie, my white cami and block heel sandals, both from Target.  For accessories I used my straw purse (similar) and straw hat.  Straw accessories always give me that spring vibe when putting together a spring outfit.  My earrings are from another local West Michigan shop that I’m working with called Tracy Lynn Designs.  I’ve been sharing a lot of these earrings over on Instagram and I am a huge fan!  I love the colors in these light-weight confetti pear shaped earrings (Code: KATIE10 for 10% off).  They are such a fun statement piece to complete this look.
