Happy April! I can’t believe that March has come and gone. March in the Midwest is always a curve ball. You never know if it will start warming up or if you will get a spring snow storm. Luckily this March was a pleasant surprise weather wise. I’m loving the warmer days and the sunshine! We’ve been able to get out to the park more often which has been so nice with the kids.
The warmer weather has also been making me excited about getting dressed again. Winter clothes are cozy, but I always get so bored with them. I love the transitional seasons where I can ditch my winter jacket and replace it with a denim jacket.
I feel like I have a lot of things going on over on Instagram and so often my posts never make it over to the blog. In an effort to combine the two worlds I felt like I was due for an Instagram round up post. I want to give you the details on some of my latest posts from the month and tell you about a few exciting collaborations I’ve been doing.

I started a brand partnership with Fabletics in February and so far I am loving everything I have received from them. Their workout outfits are such nice quality! I’m impressed! This yellow/pink outfit was my pick for March. The colors are so cheerful it always puts me in a good mood when I wear it!

I finally found my dream pair of white jeans! They are so comfortable and have are everything I’ve been wanting in a pair of white jeans! Did I mention that they were under $40??

There has been a big debate on social media about whether or not skinny jeans are out of style. I say wear what you feel good in! I love my skinny jeans, but I also love trying out different styles of jeans. My mom-jeans are a big hit in my wardrobe and I love how comfortable and casual they are, even if my husband makes fun of me for wearing them. 😂

One of my favorite spring jackets is my trench coat I bought years ago at Forever 21. I get so excited when I have the chance to wear it. I love how it made this rainy day errand running outfit a little more stylish.

In case you missed it, I did a post on Easter baskets gift ideas (HERE). Over on Instagram I did a collaboration with Kohl’s and shared Anna and my casual Easter outfits. I hadn’t shopped at Kohl’s in a while and I forgot what a great selection they have of kid’s clothes. I also completely forgot about Kohl’s cash!! Which I earned for my next shopping trip there.

I shared this affordable kimono from Amazon last week. I think that kimonos make such a great layering piece for spring. They always add a pop of color and pattern to your wardrobe. I didn’t realized how much I like the pattern of the kimono until I put together this outfit. The color palette works so well together!

I also shared this little black dress from Amazon. It’s such a cute dress if anyone is planning a last minute spring break trip some place warm. I’ll be holding out until summer to wear it.

My baby turned 9 months in March! (Read her 9-month update HERE.) I remember taking that picture only a couple days before Anna was born. I look at myself now and think I did a pretty good job of putting myself together because the emotions I was feeling at that point were all over the place. I felt so big and uncomfortable. I was feeling impatient and just over being pregnant. I remember taking that picture and thinking how I could not wait to be taking the 9 month out picture with my little girl in my arms and here I am. She is such a joy!
