My Everyday Skincare Routine with Maelove

Over the last few years, I have made it a point to make my skincare routine a priority in my life.  I used to be the girl who thought a quick makeup wipe before bed was all you needed, but as I got older I realized just how important a good skincare routine can be.  I now look forward to my skincare routine every day.  It’s a form of self-care for me and it only takes a few minutes out of my day.

When I first started to become interested in establishing a good skincare routine I quickly became overwhelmed by it all.  There are so many different skincare products out there with so many different ingredients.  I had no idea where to even start.  Plus everything was so expensive!  Did I really need to spend $100 on a serum to have an effective skincare routine?

I decided to do a little research on my own to find out how to build an effective skincare routine that will help give me clearer skin and prevent aging.  What I found was that a daily skincare routine does not need to be overwhelming or expensive.  You can stick to the basics and simplify your routine.  What I learned is that the best anti-aging skincare routine simply consists of a cleanser, treatment, moisturizer, and an SPF in the morning.

For the last couple of weeks, I have been using Maelove skincare products during both my AM and PM skincare routines.  What I like about these products is that they help make my skincare routine easy.  They are straightforward with their ingredients plus they are affordable.  They aren’t intimidating like some of the other skincare products I have tried in the past.  Everything down to their packaging makes my skincare routine simple.

I created my own skincare system with Maelove products and here is what I have been using for my daily anti-aging skincare routine.

First I start with the Refresher.  This is a gentle cleanser made of lactic, malic, and tartaric acid that cleans and revitalizes your skin.  It also has spearmint and peppermint oil in it, which I really love. It gives my skin a tingly clean feel.  It’s very gentle on my skin and I noticed right away that my skin felt smoother and softer.

Stargaze Serum || $27.95

After I wash my face I move on to a treatment of some sort.  For my anti-aging routine, I use a retinol treatment in the evening.  The stargaze serum is described as a potent retinal for beginners.  That makes this retinol serum perfect if you have never used a retinol treatment before.  It provides quick results without any of the negative side effects that some retinol serums have.  I will say that I am not new to using retinol, but I am really loving this one!  It has a creamy consistency to it and I love how quickly it absorbs into my skin.  I haven’t had any irritation at all and I am already noticing results from using it.

The Glow Maker Antioxidant Serum || $27.95

  For my morning treatment, I go with a Vitamin C-based serum.  This Glow Maker Antioxidant Serum is an oil-free serum that brightens, nourishes, and provides antioxidant protection to help with premature aging.  When used with an SPF in the morning it is the perfect duo to protect your skin from the sun.  I really love how this serum applies to my skin.  It’s almost like using water. It absorbs quickly and it feels nice and light on my skin.  I am loving the results of using it!

The One Cream || $27.95

After using the serums I lock it all in with The One Cream.  This is a perfect everyday moisturizer.  It won’t clog your pores and it works on all skin types, even sensitive skin.  I love its thick creamy feel!  It applies so smoothly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and nourished.  I use this cream both in the morning and evening.
