Every year I strive to be a more organized person. It’s something that doesn’t come naturally to me. My brain is all over the place. It’s filled with ideas and thoughts and having mom brain 24/7 doesn’t help me at all. When I was younger I struggled to stay organized and on task, but as I have gotten older I have learned ways to help me stay focused and be more efficient. My goal is always to work smarter not harder, yet sometimes that is much easier said than done. This is why I have created organized systems in every aspect of my life.

Welcome to 2022! I spent the last 2 weeks relaxing with my family. The days leading up to Christmas were a little rough for me. There was too much anticipation and excitement that I was struggling to hold everything together at home. I decided that I would take a little break or at least a break from caring. I stop caring about posting holiday outfit reel to Instagram or getting on my phone to check how my posts were doing or responding to the emails that came my way. Instead, I listened to a book and started watching the second season of You on Netflix. I did the things I never do in my free time, instead of the things I thought I should be doing and it was amazing! I spent more time being in the moment with my kids and enjoying them.

Living in a cold climate like Michigan, I am always trying to figure out how to winterize my wardrobe. I like to make the most of my clothes and wear them year-round. The best way to do that is by adding layers. One of my favorite winter layers is tights. Tights are a great option when you want to dress up in the winter, but also stay warm and hide your pale winter legs. Today I want to share some tips for wearing tights along with some ways that I have styled tights with my wardrobe.
